Rental conditions

Payments should be made in Euro to our spanish bank; details will be provided. Rates are inclusive of reasonable use of electricity, mains water, provision of linen and reasonable after-stay cleaning

We can accommodate short stays from 5 days upwards at a pro-rata rate.
Please check availability below and then email us on Cindy@chpowell.plus.com for confirmation of prices and further booking information.

Booking On booking we require a 25% deposit of the total price of your holiday, inclusive of a damage deposit of 150 euro. The final balance is payable 5 weeks before the start of your holiday. Once this is paid, we send keys by registered post, plus maps. After your holiday, once you have returned the keys, we will return your damage deposit (in sterling if you require, at the prevailing tourist bank rate. We cannot use XE.Com or similar exchange rates as these represent commercial currency exchanges of over 10,000 euro and are therefore not indicative of high street bank rates that you or we actually get.

Cancellation We are sorry but in the event of cancellation we reserve the right to keep all or part of the holiday cost, depending on cancellation period and if we are able to rebook the period. For this reason (and many other valid reasons!) you should make sure you take out suitable holiday insurance cover. We will of course do our best to assist you in providing details for your insurance company if you need to make a claim because of unavoidable cancellation etc.

Water and Electricity Supplies We are fortunate that our house is on a fully legalised urbanisation which has legal water and electricity supplies and therefore we do not suffer persistent power or water cuts which some properties in the area do suffer from. You may be aware that some areas of Chiclana have problems with legal water and electricity supplies, particularly villas which are in small villages or non urbanised areas. Such villas may also be situated off dirt tracks without street lighting, instead of proper roads.

Please see the "Contact" page for our email address if you have enquiries or would like to book.
